After a therapy-break of nearly three years, marking the end of her decade-long solo act Through Waves, Raine Holtz is brewing her sad-girl magic with a highly anticipated debut album: "Burials". And to give a preview of what is being slowly crafted, she offers an exclusive digital single and invites you to listen: this is "Mina", the core of the album.

"Mina" was the first song written, concerning the death of Raine's best friend Mina, her Siamese cat, in 2018. It was from this piece's delicate harp and hurdy-gurdy that the long, weird world-fusion themes of "Burials" branched out. Singing in her mother-language Portuguese, Raine laments the lost of an innocent creature and prepares herself for the dreary funeral that "Burials" became.

"Mina" is released on September 2, marking the first year since Mina's death.

The single is a digital download. It features artwork created by Raine Holtz herself, lyrics and translations and an exclusive B-side.

Após um hiato terapêutico de quase três anos, marcando o fim de seu projeto solo de uma década Through Waves, Raine Holtz fermenta sua "sad-girl magic" em um álbum de estreia altamente antecipado: "Burials". E como uma prévia do que lentamente é criado, ela oferece um single exclusive e te convida a ouvir: este é "Mina", o núcleo do álbum.

"Mina" foi a primeira canção escrita para "Burials", se referindo à morte de Mina, a gata siamesa de Raine, em 2018. É das delicadas harpas e vielas de roda desta peça que os longos temas world-fusion de "Burials" vieram. Cantando em Português, Raine lamenta a perda de uma criatura inocente e se prepara para o terrível funeral que o álbum se tornou.

"Mina" é lançado no dia 2 de Setembro, um ano após a morte de Mina.
