Now jokingly refering to herself as the pioneer and sole artist of the genre "necropop", Raine Holtz offers us a new song from her upcoming album NEKROMANTEÍON: the delicious and devilish NECROPHILA AMERICANA.

Drawing inspiration from the coldness of 80s' darkwave, the track is surprisingly catchy and upbeat, and her signature hurdy-gurdy is infused with synth leads and, of course, her enigmatic, dark voice. With profound vibratos and the ocasional guttural (!!), Raine playfully blasphemes, comparing herself with the carrion beetle that gives the song its name. As a b-side, NECROPHILA AMERICANA is re-imagined as an orchestral remix.

NEKROMANTEÍON is available May 6th, 2022.

Agora comicamente se referindo a si mesma como a pioneira e única artista do gênero "necropop", Raine Holtz oferece uma nova canção de seu próximo álbum NEKROMANTEÍON: a deliciosa e demoníaca NECROPHILA AMERICANA.

Inspirando-se na frieza do darkwave dos anos 80, a faixa é surpreendentemente cativante e animada, e sua viela de roda tradicional é infundida com teclados e, claro, sua enigmática e obscura voz. Com profundos vibratos e o gutural ocasional (!!), Raine divertidamente blasfema, comparando a si mesma com o besouro necrófago que dá à canção seu nome.
